About Me

Hello and welcome. I’m Tamara, a Nutritional Therapist, Health Coach and former corporate change leader. I’m glad you’re here.

Let me introduce myself – I am of Sri Lankan origin and grew up in a household where food was never just food. The rich spices and vegetables of Asia were part of every meal, and with them came something my parents and wider family passed down without ever making it a lesson: that what we eat shapes how we feel. I made the connection between food, happiness and health early, long before I knew there was a profession built around it..

For many years I was 100 per cent committed to my career in organisational change, leading transformation programmes across many different organisations. But somewhere along the way, staying healthy became something I kept meaning to sort out. I thought I knew what needed changing. I just couldn’t make it stick. The anxiety, stress and fatigue that crept in weren’t unique to me, but living through them gave me something no qualification could: a genuine understanding of what it feels like to struggle, and what it actually takes to change.

That’s what sent me deep into the world of nutrition. I trained as a Health Coach with the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York, and as a Nutritional Therapist at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London. More recently I’ve completed advanced training as an Integrative Metabolic Practitioner, specialising in the root causes of poor energy, weight and metabolic health, and in genetic testing through Lifecode Gx. The more I learned, the more I understood: food is medicine. And when you learn to fuel your body’s unique needs, everything changes.

My work sits at the intersection of two things most practitioners offer separately: the clinical science of nutrition and the human science of change. I spent 25 years helping organisations transform. I know why change fails, and I know what makes it last. I bring those same tools to the individuals I work with, because knowing what to eat has never really been the problem. Making it a sustainable part of your life is.

I work with people who are ready to understand their body differently. Busy professionals, people navigating midlife health changes, those who have tried other approaches and not quite got there. What they have in common is this: they want support that fits around the life they are already living, not one that asks them to choose between their health and everything else they care about.

Alongside nutritional therapy, I am a qualified Qi Gong instructor and incorporate this ancient practice into my work for clients where it’s relevant. Energy isn’t only about what you eat. It’s about how you move, breathe and restore. Nourish& brings all of it together: Nutrition, Energy, Change.

My mission is simple. I want to help you take control of your own health and make changes that actually last, without it being an either/or with the career or life you love.

Health is wealth.

And your best health is closer than you think.
